Where is the Jail located?

The Garfield County Jail is located at 107 8th St, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601 and is open 24/7 at the Bondsman’s Door located on the North side of the building. Detention deputies can be reached at 970-945-1377 ext. 1034.

How do I obtain a copy of a report?

Copies of reports are only available by contacting our Records Division during regular business hours at 970-665-0200 or by emailing [email protected]. Even if you are law enforcement you will need to contact our Records Division to obtain any reports.

How do I get a VIN check completed?

Regular VIN Inspections can be completed at either our Glenwood or Rifle offices by front desk staff during business hours, or by calling 970-625-8095 during regular business hours and asking to speak with a Civil Deputy. How do I get a Concealed Weapon Permit?

The Sheriff’s Office issues Concealed Weapon Permits at both the Glenwood and Rifle offices. If you have any questions concerning the application process, please call the Garfield County Sheriff’s Rifle Annex at 970-665-0200 or Glenwood Office at 970-945-0453 during regular business hours.

How do I renew my Concealed Weapon Permit?

The Sheriff’s Office Concealed Weapon Permit can be renewed at both the Glenwood and Rifle offices during regular business hours. If you have any questions concerning how to renew your permit, please call the Garfield County Sheriff’s Rifle Annex at 970-665-0200 or Glenwood Office at 970-945-0453 during regular business hours.
