Dog Registration
Dogs must be registered with the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office if they reside in the county 30 consecutive days or more. Registration must be renewed every 3 years.
Registration & Renewal Fees
Registration and renewal fees are as follows:

- $10 for licensing
- $5 for replacement tags
- $5 for licensing and replacement if owner is elderly 65+ years of age

To register your dog in person, you may go to one of the following locations with proof of rabies shot for each dog and a completed registration application we will provide in person
