GARFIELD COUNTY SHERIFF�S OFFICE POLICY / PROCEDURE DETENTIONS SUBJECT: POST ORDERS EFFECTIVE DATE: January 01, 2004 POLICY: The Garfield County Sheriff�s Office Detention Facility will provide its employees with guidance in operating the jail through a well organized set of Post Orders that is regularly reviewed and updated as necessary. PURPOSE: To describe the post order system that will be used by the Detention Facility. METHOD: Each specialty area within the Detention Facility will have a specific Post Order developed to describe in detail the procedures that apply to that post. Post Orders shall be considered operational guidelines. These Post Orders will be subject to the same review and revision requirements as all jail policies and procedures.
