The Sheriff’s Office consists of 151 total
employees dedicated to Detentions, Patrol, Civil and Administrative
functions.
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age for Patrol positions, 18 years of age for all other positions; a high school graduate or have obtained a GED; possess a Colorado driver’s license (or have the ability to obtain one) and have a clean criminal history. Applicants for Patrol positions must be Colorado P.O.S.T certified or currently participating in a program to become P.O.S.T. certified in Colorado.
